The Cincinnati Fire Foundation is an independent corporation. The foundation was chartered in 2008 in the State of Ohio as a not-for-profit corporation and is recognized as exempt under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The corporation is non-political in nature and exists to provide effective support to the mission and morale of fire departments and public safety organizations within the Cincinnati tri-state area. An independent Board of Directors manages the affairs of the Cincinnati Fire Foundation.

The board would like to say a special thank you to Dr. O’Dell Owens, who passed away suddenly in November 2022. Dr. Owens was a vibrant Cincinnati community leader and a treasured board member of the CFF. He served with us for many years, giving us great insight and advice as we worked together to better the lives of our Cincinnati Fire Department members and the communities they serve. His wisdom and friendship will be truly missed.
